Dr. Michael R. Blum graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with honors in oral pathology in 1987. He was chief resident of general dentistry at the Miami Veterans Administration following his graduation. He also holds a Masters Degree in Education from Adelphi University, and a Bachelors Degree in Music from Brooklyn College's School of Performing Arts, C.U.N.Y. Dr. Blum has been published numerous times and has lectured internationally on the subject of doctor/patient communication. He currently is chairman to the Board of Directors of the Broward County Community College's Dental Research Clinic. Dr. Blum is also involved with Spirituality of Kids, a nonprofit organization which helps children understand the consequences of their actions thereby allowing them to make educated decisions when confronted with the pressures of growing up.
When Dr. Blum isn’t focusing on being a great husband and father, he can be found playing numerous musical instruments. He has lived in Florida since 1985 and relishes in the fact that you don’t need winter clothing here. Michael enjoys a well-made pizza and a good movie such as his favorite The Wizard of Oz. His opinion on the importance of having and maintaining a healthy smile is the fact that it’s a sign of your overall health, as well as a representation of how well you take care of yourself. Dr. Lalsingh is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and the University of Rochester Department of Periodontology. Dr. Lalsingh is committed to high quality, comprehensive dental care. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. This means that he has undergone testing of the highest level by some of the most esteemed periodontists in the country and has demonstrated a high level of knowledge and competency. He has made it his mission to provide as many quality services as a periodontist can provide, including immediate load implants, sinus elevations, and advanced regenerative periodontics.
Chad graduated from Boston College, where he met his wife, Olivia. He enjoys watching his BC Eagles, and playing tennis, golf and going to the beach. He is also a black belt in jiu-jitsu, which he studied for seven years, and a blue belt in competitive judo, which he did for three years. Chad grew up in St. Lucia in the Caribbean and lived there till he was sixteen before going abroad to school. Chad has lived in Florida since 2004 and joined the Centre in 2006. When he’s not busy staying active he likes to enjoy his downtime with his wife Olivia, their daughters Ava & Kayla, and the family’s two dogs, Lily and Peanut. Dr. Lalsingh’s view on the importance of having and maintaining a healthy smile is the ability to smile with confidence in public, and eat properly throughout life.

Trish is the Office Manager here at the Centre for the Dental Arts, and has been with the centre since 1992! Prior to becoming such an efficient manager, Trish was a state certified assistant. She spends her free time with her husband and son taking part in activities such as bike riding, and enjoying movies such as her favorite, Transformers. She takes a special interest in home renovations and has a stylish eye for home décor. Trish loves the year round sunshine and fun in the water found in South Florida. Trish loves working at the Centre because she feels like she never leaves the comfort of her own home. Her view on receiving great dental care is “Having a trusting doctor is number one in obtaining a healthy smile, as well as a great hygienist that can show you proper home care.”
Cade graduated from Rutgers University in 2007, where he obtained degrees in both Communication and History. Cade’s specialty in Communication was the Public Relations field, pertaining to marketing and advertising techniques used throughout many industries today. Through open communication lines with people and businesses throughout South Florida, Cade seeks to improve the patient base of the Centre by making sure the publics served will be happy in their treatment. He enjoys staying active by playing sports such as Tennis, Basketball, and Soccer. Another major activity that occupies Cade’s time is Scuba Diving. Cade moved back to Florida in the summer of 2007 and enjoys the beautiful weather found here yearlong. When Cade isn’t busy staying active with work and play, he enjoys new movies, eating sushi, and anything that keeps him down to Earth in an ever-changing environment. Cade’s enthusiasm is sure to be contagious, so call and visit us today!
Chances are if you have come into the Centre for the Dental Arts at least once you’ve heard or spoken to B.J. She is our head Administrative Dental Assistant and has been with Dr. Blum and the Centre since the beginning in 1989! After joining Dr. Blum’s team in a past office, B.J. followed Dr. Blum to the Centre for the Dental Arts, and has been with us ever since. She has lived in Florida since 1980, and loves the easy accessibility of the beach. She spends most of her time with her son Anthony and husband Joey, and their two Shih Tzus, Spot and Cinnamon. B.J. enjoys exercising, playing Soccer in a league, and savoring downtime eating good food, or watching movies such as her favorite, Dirty Dancing. B.J.’s view on the importance of having and maintaining a healthy smile is continuous brushing and flossing, as well as visiting your dentist every 6 months. Back in 2005 Javier and his wife moved from Venezuela to the states, to enjoy all the beauties South Florida has to offer. Javier is a registered Dental Hygienist here at the Centre for the Dental Arts, and has been since early 2007. When Javier is not busy being a superior hygienist, he enjoys his hobbies such as reading, photography, and playing the guitar, as well as sports such as Basketball, Soccer, and jogging. Along with Dr. Blum his favorite food is pizza, and he enjoys movies, such as his favorite: La Vita Bella. Javier’s view on the importance of having and maintaining a healthy smile is the representation of the care you give yourself as well as the level of your personal hygiene. Luydmila, also known as Luyda, has been with the Centre since March of 2001, and has been enjoying South Florida since her move from St. Petersburg, Russia in 1999. When Luyda isn’t working hard for her patient’s smiles, she can be found on the beach with her son Ruslan, daughter Anna, and husband Andre. Her free time is also spent performing and conducting dances, while also drawing artistic creations next to her large gorgeous cat, Vasska. Luyda enjoys a good Italian or sushi meal, as well as a great movie such as her favorite fantasy films: Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings.
